Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than something added afterwards.

What we have built in

Across the site we have aimed for:

• semantic HTML and a logical heading structure;
• keyboard access to every control, including the homepage carousel and the FAQ accordions;
• visible focus outlines on interactive elements;
• descriptive alternative text on meaningful imagery;
• labels on every form field, with errors announced rather than shown by colour alone;
• text and background colours chosen for contrast;
• respect for your system's reduced-motion setting, which turns off animation.

Where we know we fall short

Accessibility is ongoing rather than finished. If you hit a barrier, we would genuinely rather hear about it than not — it is the fastest way for us to fix it.
